Resolving catalog/Primo VE errors is an everyday task for Technical Services library workers, whether it be a linking error, incorrect coverage date, or no full-text access. Like most academic libraries, UAB Libraries relied on Reference Librarians and Chat with a Librarian to gather user-reported issues in Primo VE. In 2022 UAB Libraries decided to implement an error-reporting form directly into the catalog, allowing patrons to report issues on their own. This presentation will go over why UAB Libraries made this change, what errors patrons are reporting, challenges involved, and successes.
