Back to Schedule Check-inYou can join session 5 minutes before start time.

Session Information

In the Fall of 2024, Creighton University Libraries embarked on an initiative to introduce Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) tools to the campus community, aiming to shift interdisciplinary discussions from theoretical exploration to practical application. Using a pilot framework, the project focused on incorporating three distinct Library GAI tools: Keenious, SCITE.AI, and SCOPUS.AI. This session will provide an in-depth exploration of our GAI pilot process, highlighting both technical and instructional components and staff development. Topics will include: scoping the project, identifying and determining audience needs, establishing learning outcomes, incorporating tools into the technical framework, and developing an applicable assessment structure. Additionally, we will discuss ethical and sustainability concerns of GAI and its integration into information literacy and instructional sessions.
