The Homosaurus, a linked data vocabulary designed to enhance the discoverability of LGBTQ+ resources, includes just under 450 one-to-one matches with Library of Congress Subject Headings. In 2024, Florida State University Libraries undertook a project to supplement LC Subject Headings with corresponding Homosaurus terms in its catalog via the use of Alma normalization rules. This presentation will outline the methods by which records were identified, normalization rules were generated, and records were eventually improved in batch. The presentation will also discuss problems encountered, benefits to FSU's users, and potential future applications of the workflow.
