Data Visualization offers the ability to join uploaded data sets and Subject Areas without writing SQL at multiple UI levels- during set creation, within data flows, and within workbooks. These variations allow users to choose the option that best fits their needs, but unknown nuances can cause unintended side effects. This presentation examines the pros and cons of each join UI and their capabilities, from the drop-down menu of data flows to the automatic data blending within a workbook.
