Previously we tried getting COUNTER reports from Alma but hit many roadblocks. Comparing the data to reports from our admin accounts did not match, even when the collection only had one title. Other institutions in our consortium paid for subscriptions to CELUS to manage COUNTER data. We tried again, reviewing our sushi data, testing it in Alma, updating what was incorrect, and cleaning out unneeded reports in the usage data section of the vendor record. Finding reports in the shared files of Analytics that allowed us to compare each individual vendor with COUNTER data from Alma to our admin account reports. Just as it was working (and I could prove it), COUNTER switched to 5.1 so we switched to, tracking all the details and when to switch.
