Alma, Analytics, and Data Visualization all allow data queries and the export of data. However, it is often difficult to know which tool is optimal for a data need. This presentation examines the distinct functionalities within Alma, Analytics, and Data Visualization to access and process data, situations in which each functionality shines, and how they can be linked together to achieve tasks no one tool can manage. We begin with an overview of the possibilities unique to each tool and where they overlap. We then examine ways to use the tools together, such as getting around the 9,999 filter limit in Analytics by uploading a list in Data Visualization.
