20250620T1100 20250620T1145 America/New_York Using APIs to Build New Experiences and Meet Student Needs When we began a redesign of our library website in 2021, we created a valuable partnership that has allowed the library to use the skills and resources of the university's Web Development team to turn our visions into reality. These projects include bento-box search results on our main page, a custom search on catalog computers that focus on physical materials, an improved Alma services page, and most recently, a Featured Collections page created to enhance our Beyond Books Collection such as board games, power tools, and electronics. As a Summon-over-Alma institution, we created these tools using both Summon and Alma APIs. The outcome can certainly be adapted for Primo users also.
