As of early 2025, integrating Tipasa ILL has been a complex process, requiring multiple components within Alma such as General Electronic Services and Resource Sharing Partners, and additional configuration in Tipasa itself (e.g., patron authentication, request forms, and notifications). This fragmented setup can make the integration challenging to implement and maintain. A new, more efficient integration approach simplifies this process by leveraging Alma's native forms, user records, and ISO resource-sharing capabilities to directly transfer requests between Alma and Tipasa. This session will guide attendees through the steps of setting up this streamlined integration, discuss best practices for implementation, and provide a critical analysis of the project's outcomes, highlighting both successes and challenges.
