This presentation will describe Brandeis University's project to connect Rapido and the resource sharing system SHAREit (developed by Auto-Graphics) through ISO, a vendor-neutral standard that facilitates resource sharing between different systems. Establishing this connection has allowed Brandeis to connect to public libraries in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and thereby get easier access to (largely) recreational reading materials. We will discuss challenges encountered during and after the implementation of the connection, the extent to which the project has been successful in achieving its goals, and our hopes for future interoperability.
